Who's a 5 month old baby??

Charlie has this thing about having his mouth open during pictures -- can you tell? :)

Charlie is 5 months old! Can you believe it? My how time has flown (after those first three months which turned out to be the longest of my life!) He sure is a cutie (when he's not tired then he's Mr Grumpy Pants) It sure has been a rough road becoming a Mom. Poor Charlie, either I don't know what I'm doing or he just isn't having any fun being alive sometimes. But when he's happy it sure is worth it!

We had someone walk through our house today for the first time since our deal fell through. Needless to say I wasn't expecting anyone so the house was a mess but what are you going to do? They liked it but it's too small (they have kids). Oh well, at least someone has shown some interest. Maybe I should get rid of our fliers so people will actually call and want to come in the house. Em, mom and dad said your relater gave you a list of things to do (like bake cookies when people come -- do you remember what else he said?)

Anyway, there's my life for you!

ANGRY ELF!!!!!

Yes Charlie, we all know how you feel about our deal falling through with the house (we call him Mr Angry Elf!) It is a blessing in some ways since they had asked us to be out of the house in 2 and half weeks and we hadn't found a house to move into yet but it's still very disappointing and embarrassing that the house didn't appraise for what we were asking (I know that it was a fair price though -- he just wouldn't do the work to find the comparable houses since they all sell by owner in our neighborhood). ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Okay, now that we've got that out. . . is my house ugly?? Does no one want it?? We had like three people interested when we were under contract (we didn't take their numbers though because we are IDIOTS! so now we can't call and tell them the deal fell through :( and now no one is calling (we haven't had any calls since Monday). But I must be patient. I just hope our house will appraise for what it's worth once we appraise it ourself. Okay, blogging is not for complaining. Here are some happy pictures of our house:

And one more of sweet Charlie when he was one month old :)

Head up, stand up!

Charlie loves standing up on his little feet (notice the nice spit up stain on his shirt -- it's his favorite accessory to any outfit :)

This is a rare thing -- Charlie actually enjoying tummy time! I'm surprised he can lift that huge head of his :) What a cutie.
